Jeep Ride-On Cars for Kids: Licensed Rubicon, Willys-Style and 4x4 Models

Round headlights, a slotted grille and big tires: few vehicles say "adventure" like a Jeep, and kids love driving one. Our Jeep ride-ons for kids cover every stage, from a toddler's first foot-to-floor car to 24V off-roaders that seat two or three children. Here is how they compare and how to choose.

Our Jeep ride-ons at a glance

Ages Seats Max weight Power Top speed
Jeep Rubicon Foot to Floor 1 to 3 1 55 lb Foot-powered (no battery) Walking pace
Freddo Raider 24V 4x4 3 to 8 2 110 lb 24V, 4 motors 5 km/h (3.1 mph)
Military Willys 24V 4x4 3 to 8 3 132 lb 24V, 4 motors 4 km/h (2.5 mph)

Ages 1 to 3: the licensed Jeep Rubicon foot-to-floor

The Jeep Rubicon Foot to Floor Ride-On is officially licensed by Jeep, with the Rubicon grille, badges and wheels. Toddlers push it along with their feet, so there is no battery to charge and no speed to worry about. It has engine sounds, a storage compartment under the seat and wide PP wheels for stability indoors and out, and it supports up to 55 lb. It comes in red, white, grey and pink. A foot-to-floor car builds balance and leg strength, and it is a great first step before a motorized ride-on. More ideas in our push cars and foot-to-floor ride-ons.

Ages 3 to 8: 24V Jeep-style off-roaders

Once your child is ready for a motor, a 24V four-wheel-drive model gives enough power for grass, gravel and gentle slopes. Both models below have four motors, EVA tires, a 2.4G parental remote and about 60 minutes of driving per charge (8 to 12 hours to recharge).

Freddo Raider 24V: two seats and full suspension

The Freddo Raider 24V 2-Seater is a modern open-top 4x4 with a roll bar, a spare wheel on the back, leather seats and suspension on all four wheels. It carries two children up to 110 lb in total and reaches 5 km/h (3.1 mph). Music comes through USB and an AUX input. A good pick for siblings or friends who want to ride together.

Military Willys 24V: three seats for the whole crew

The Military Willys 24V 3-Seater recreates the classic army off-roader in green, with a folding windshield, leather seats and a seat belt for each of the three seats. It takes up to 132 lb, has an emergency stop button and plays music by Bluetooth, USB and AUX. Its top speed of 4 km/h (2.5 mph) keeps the ride calm, which parents of younger drivers appreciate. Licensed Jeep or Jeep-style?

Only the Rubicon foot-to-floor carries an official Jeep licence. The Raider and the Military Willys are Freddo designs inspired by classic off-roaders: they have the rugged look kids want, without the licensed badges. If the real brand matters to you, look for "officially licensed" on each product page.

What to check before you buy

  • Age and weight: follow the range on each product page. For two or three kids, add up their weights.
  • Seats: one child, two, or three? The Willys is the only three-seater here.
  • Terrain: 24V 4x4 models handle lawns and gravel better than 12V cars. Read 12V vs 24V explained.
  • Parental remote: both 24V models let you steer and stop from a few steps away while your child learns.
  • Space: the Willys measures about 64 × 32 in and the Raider about 54 × 29 in, so measure your garage or shed for winter storage.

More off-road options

Looking for something similar? The Freddo Ranger 4x4 12V is a smaller one-seat off-roader with a parental remote and four-wheel suspension, and the officially licensed Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 24V is a vintage two-seat 4x4. Browse all 4x4 ride-on cars and off-road ride-ons.

Jeep ride-on FAQ

Is there an officially licensed Jeep ride-on?

Yes: the Jeep Rubicon Foot to Floor Ride-On for ages 1 to 3 is officially licensed by Jeep. Our 24V Raider and Military Willys are Jeep-style designs.

What is the best Jeep ride-on for a 3-year-old?

A 24V model with a parental remote, like the Freddo Raider or the Military Willys, both listed for ages 3 to 8. For a child under 3, start with the Jeep Rubicon foot-to-floor.

Can two kids ride together?

Yes. The Raider seats two (up to 110 lb in total) and the Military Willys seats three (up to 132 lb).

How fast do they go?

The Raider reaches 5 km/h (3.1 mph) and the Military Willys 4 km/h (2.5 mph). The Rubicon foot-to-floor moves only as fast as your toddler pushes.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes, with free shipping to every province.
